Tickets must be purchased in advance of the event Lunch will include finger sandwiches, pasta salad, fruit melody, tea and dessert. May 13 -- The Anson County Partnership for Children's annual "Week of the Young Child" PARADE will be held at 10 a.m. at South Piedmont Community College's Lockhart-Taylor Center, 514 N. This year's theme is "Barnyard Friends," and children ages birth through kindergarten, parents and childcare providers are encouraged to participate and decorate their own float (no gas-powered vehicles will be allowed). The parade line-up will begin in the parking lot at 9:30 a.m. After the parade, a special live performance of "If You Give a Pig a Party" will be led by the TARRADIDDLE PLAYERS.
